ISO 9001 internal auditor

We are looking for a free lance auditor that can carry out internal audits to ensure we are compliant to the current standard and our company SOP. In this role we would expect the auditor to carry out 3 - 4 visits per year to carry out the required audits on our systems with one of these visits being in attendance when we have the external ISO auditor comes in to do both surveillance and re-certification visits. We are a small family business but have several blue chip clients, we manufacture for a wide range of industries including parts requiring section 1, 2 & 5 home office approval (firearms etc) to work on. Our SOP is well developed and up to now always sailed through external ISO audits with a token "area for improvement" being sited at the end of the auditors visit. We are looking for a pro-active auditor to work with us to help us keep up this standard of work and guiding us to continuously improve and develop our SOP. We are flexible with these audits to fit around your working patterns. We are looking for a person who is looking at a long term arrangement not just on an as and when basis.
