Chris Farthing is the founder and CEO of Advice Cloud, a Brighton-based consultancy that helps technology suppliers win and grow public sector business through government frameworks such as G-Cloud and Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS).
Before founding Advice Cloud, Chris spent many years in public sector roles, including at East Sussex County Council, Croydon and Brighton. He used G-Cloud as a buyer and saw that many suppliers needed help using it well. In 2013 he began advising suppliers on their G-Cloud listings, and Advice Cloud became a fully fledged company the following year.
Since then, Chris and his team have supported hundreds of suppliers, most of them SMEs, to get listed, become easier for buyers to find and choose, and secure contracts with government bodies. He is a regular commentator in the technology trade press and a frequent speaker and webinar host on framework strategy.
